The one who memorized the Qur'an should implement the following good qualities to be the best of mankind, as Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: “The best of you i.e. the mankind is whoever learns the Quran and teaches it.” (Al Bukhari: 5027).

1). The Hafiz do not commit any of the Major sins, which are more than 100, such as polytheism – ‘Shirk’, murder, witchcraft – ‘Sihr’, usury, adultery, incest, backbiting, slandering, bribing, etc. And then do not commit any of the Minor sins too; in case, if he committed any of them by mistake – he / she should repent to Allah immediately before an angel records it, Allah says:

“And those (true believers) are, when they have committed ‘Fahishah’ (sinning, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.) or wronged themselves with evil, they remember Allah (His severe punishment) and ask forgiveness for their sins; – and none can forgive (all) sins except Allah - And they do not persist in what (sinning) they have done, while they know. For such people, the reward is the Forgiveness from their Rabb, and Gardens (of Paradise) with rivers flowing underneath, wherein they shall reside forever. How excellent is this reward for the (good) doers’.” (Qur’an 135 – 136).

2). The Hafiz should behave according to the ideal qualities specified by the Qur’an:

Ayisha Radiya Allahu anhaa said: “the Messenger ﷺ’s quality was the Qur’an” (‘Adabul Mufrad’: 234/308).

3). The Hafiz should avoid all evils that are hated by the society:

And he / she should avoid all evil qualities that are forbidden by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, as well as the tradition and fashion of non-Muslims.

They should never imitate the style of dress, hair, action, etc. of film stars, musicians, sports stars, etc. when they oppose Islamic culture, nor imitate the Kafir in intoxication, smoking, etc.

Girls should not use any makeup material that prevents water from touching the skin, nails or hair for ablution - ‘Wudu’ and bath, even while she is in the menstrual or post-delivery period. Because keeping the place where the Wudu’s water touches, open is not only for Prayer in Islam, rather the Messenger ﷺ has commanded upon everyone to make ‘Wudu’ before sleeping, while reciting the Qur’an and the ‘Dhikr’, while one wants to sleep, after ‘Janabah’ (orgasm) before taking bath, etc.

And, instead of using non-Islamic makeup materials – she should use Islamic makeup materials, instead of using water blocking nail polish color – she should use henna, this is commanded by the Messengerﷺ, the ‘Sunnah’. And instead of using water blocking mascara – use water soluble Islamic kohl or mascara.

The adult Hafiz girls should cover their faces with a veil – ‘Niqab’ this is a commendable ‘Sunnah’, and the tradition of The Messenger ﷺ’s Companion women, (remember a poet’s words: ‘The hidden things are considered beautiful and attractive always).

The length of a man’s dress should not exceed his ankle bone, but that of women should exceed her ankle bone. Likewise, tight fitted and transparent dresses are not allowed for both boys and girls in Islam.

The girls should not unveil their whole ‘Awrah’ (private parts), even their face, especially when affliction is feared, and they should always oppose non-Muslim customs, otherwise they will be one of them! The Messenger ﷺsaid:

“Whoever imitates a community – will be of them (on the Day of Judgment)!” (Authentic by Albany in ‘Mishkaat’: 4347).

And, they should stop watching films, dramas, dances, music, etc. that wastes time, rather they should enjoy with melodious recitation of the Holy Quran, by learning its meaning too.

Male should not imitate female’s style, nor should female imitate male’s style. He should not grow his hair as long as the females do, nor should he imitate any of the female’s dress. Likewise, she should not shorten her hair like the males, nor should she imitate any of the male’s dress, because the Messenger ﷺ said:

Ibn 'Abbas said: “Allah’s Messenger ﷺ cursed a man who imitates (in dress, hair, face, body, etc.) as a woman, and he ﷺ cursed a woman who imitates (in dress, hair, face, body, etc.) as a man.” And the Messenger ﷺ ordered: “Drive such people out of your home, thus Allah’s Messenger ﷺ drove out so-and-so from his home, and ‘Umar Khatab too drove out so-and-so from his home.” (Al-Bukhari: 5886).

And, male and female should not mingle with one another except for the permitted reasons in Islam.

4). The Hafiz should control their lust, greediness, anger, miserliness, etc. and behave fairly and in a pardoning manner with others, Allah says:

{الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاء وَالضَّرَّاء وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ}

“Those who spend (in Allah’s Way charity, alms, etc.) in prosperity and in poverty, who control their anger, and who pardon for mankind; Indeed, Allah loves the true believers.” (Qur’an 3: 134).

And, in case he or she commits a sin, they should repent it immediately and they should never utter it to others which will be caused to humiliate him or her, Allah says:

“Allah does not like when the evil is uttered in public except from he who has been wronged (to complaint it to Judge). And Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Knower.” (Qur’an 4: 148).

5). The Hafiz should regularly recite the morning and evening ‘Dhikr’ and ‘Dua’ of every day, because it provides them the greatest peace, widens their mind, heart, health and enjoyment, etc. that cannot be explained in the words!

And, remember that none can gain the real peace and happiness except whoever learns and follows the Holy Quran and recites the ‘Dhikr’, Allah’s glorification, even if he or she owns millions of Dollars! (its example is that the majority of the rich people who are addicted to alcohol and drugs in the world is because of losing the peace and happiness by abstaining from Qur’an). Allah says:

“And, whosoever turns away from My ‘Dhikr’ (the Qur’an’s orders, glorification of Allah, etc.), indeed, for him (her) is a life of hardship and depression, and We (Allah) shall resurrect him up as a blind-man on the Day of Resurrection.” (Qur’an 20: 124).

6). He / she should convert his / her quality to the Qur’an’s quality in all aspects, so, he / she should pray ‘Tahajjud’ (تهَجد) at night just before the ‘Adhan’ of ‘Fajr’ (3, or 5, or 7, or 9, or 11 units) accurately, which will prevent him / her from the evil qualities which Allah disliked. Allah says:

“Their (true believers’) sides leave their beds (for ‘Tahajjud’ prayer), to supplicate their Rabb in fear and hope, and they spend charity in Allah’s Way out of what We (Allah) have bestowed on them. (So), no person knows what is kept hidden for them of great joy as a reward for what they used to do (for this world and the Hereafter)! Then, will he who is a true believer be as him who is a disobedient to Allah?! They are not equal. As for those who believe (in the Tauhid, the Day of Judgment, etc.) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens of Paradise as an Everlasting Entertainment, for what they used to do.” (Qur’an: 16-19).
